Founded in 2014, K&O Property Management and Rentals LLC manages a diverse portfolio in the Rapid City and surrounding areas that includes apartment complexes, townhomes, condos, single-family houses and office spaces. We are locally owned and operated. Our team of state licensed property managers is committed to safeguarding owner properties as if they were our own. Born and raised in Rapid City, SD, Olivia learned the importance of dedication, hard work, and determination from her parents who were also small business owners. She moved to New York City to attend The Fashion Institute of Technology where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in 2001. In 2009, her love for the Black Hills and desire to raise her daughter in her home town surrounded by family led her to move back to the area. It was then that Olivia began her career in the property management industry as a licensed property manager at an established property management company in the area. Olivia founded K&O Property Management in 2014 naming it after herself and her daughter, Kira.
As founder and owner of K&O Property Management, Olivia has continually demonstrated excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, which she proudly incorporates into the company’s services. K&O Property Management consists of three essential components: quality property management, prompt responsiveness and top-notch customer service. Olivia values her tenant and owner relationships and understands the importance of providing timely yet quality service to all shareholders.
Olivia is proud of the success and growth of K&O Property Management and is humbled knowing that its success and growth is due in part to the continued support of her property owners and tenants and most of all her loving husband Omar and daughter Kira.
Jessica was born and raised in eastern South Dakota. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Northern State University in Aberdeen in 2004 before moving to the Black Hills in 2005. Rapid City has been home to Jessica ever since. Jessica met and married her husband while living in Rapid City, and she is a devoted mother to their two young children.
Jessica spent 16 years in retail management at the beginning of her career, which allowed her to develop a skill set that transitioned well into serving property owners and tenants alike in the property management industry. She joined K&O Property Management in October 2020 as a Leasing Assistant. In June 2021, she became a licensed Property Manager.
Jessica’s integrity and dedication to her property owners and tenants make her an invaluable asset to the K&O Property Management team.
Susan was born and raised in Casper, Wyoming. She has spent most of my life in the scenic Black Hills during her childhood summers up at the family cabin between Spearfish and Lead. With her family in tow, she made Rapid City her home in 2004, alongside her beloved fur-babies, with a brief adventure in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Susan comes to K&O Property Management with six years’ previous experience in the industry. She has developed a strong background, particularly in the maintenance sector and leasing.
Susan is driven by tenacity, dedication, and a genuine passion for helping others. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities for Susan to make a positive impact to the community. She is committed to providing exceptional service to our tenants and the property owners.
Trisha Hunt moved to Rapid City with her husband and two children in 2021. She gained a background in customer service within the retail and service industries growing up in Southern California. There, she developed a love and passion for connecting customers with the experiences, goods or services they are looking for. She joined K&O Property Management in September 2023 as a leasing assistant. In her free time, Trisha enjoys camping, hiking and exploring the Black Hills with her family and two dogs.
Omar’s journey has been nothing short of exemplary. Having dedicated a significant chapter of his life to the United States Air Force, he found himself in the breathtaking embrace of the Black Hills, where fate introduced him to Olivia. The two soon forged a partnership that blossomed into a beautiful family, encompassing their cherished daughter, Kira. Rapid City isn’t just a place on the map for Omar and his family; it’s home—a tapestry woven with memories, love, and profound connections.
After proudly serving for 20 years, Omar retired in 2024 with a wealth of experience in civil engineering, bringing forth a treasure trove of knowledge gained from countless military assignments. His strategic planning and hands-on approach transform ordinary maintenance practices into exceptional solutions. Now, as a valuable member of our maintenance team, Omar seamlessly integrates his disciplined mindset and innovative techniques into every project. With each task he undertakes, he not only embodies professionalism and dedication, but he embodies the essence of a true community member, committed to enhancing the spaces in which we live and work.
